Product Details

Bontrager 29-2 Expert Tire

Bontrager's 29-2 is specifically designed and engineered for 29ers with a tread design that is perfect for loose-over-hardpack or loamy trails. A ramped center tread rolls fast, then you've got scooped edges that dig into loose terrain and long shoulder blocks for stability in corners. And the folding bead keeps the weight low.

    Comments:

The middle grips wore off with in the first hundred miles. They were useless in wet conditions. Using them to climb hills that had any kind of rock or roots was pointless, unless you are looking for a workout. Constantly slipped going up rocky, or wet, or rooty hills. Once worn down they were basically rode bike tires that used a lot of energy because of the width.
